Tor drilling has been installing water wells all over England for some time now for a wide range of clients from Farmers to Factories. We are able to drill down to depths of up to 150m to find suitable aquifers which are able to support your needs for Commercial or Domestic purposes.
Our Klemm 806 drilling for water in the hills of Dorset
The pictures above show our Klemm 806 rotary rig drilling a 110m borehole in 200mm diameter for the installation of a 150mm steel liner, which was laser cut specifically for this site where drilling conditions were particularly difficult, the liner is sacrificial and welded together as it is drilled in. The well was required by a cheese factory to support their ever-growing need for large volumes of water for use in their factory and to supply the large dairy herd on the site.
